The music we play is based on the type of event, inc themed music nights, We also welcome requests from you and your guests on the night,
We bring 30,000 tunes to every event covering most genres and eras, from the 40s – current chart hits
Upon booking we ask you if you have any requests or would like to provide a 30 tunes guide list, That you can send to us via email
We request that lists are sent to us in good time before the day to ensure availability of the tracks. (ideally one month prior to date)
We also offer you to submit a ‘do not play’ list. If there’s anything you wouldn’t like to be played, Please let us know and we’ll avoid those selected choices.

Hi i’m Mervyn Roberts (DJ Merv) DJ /presenter of Chase Stereo,
One of the most common question i get asked as a dj is about the music i play, For me the answer is simple, I cover most genre of music & take 30,000 tunes with me covering all eras to every event, The music i play is really your choice, I normally ask for a 30 tune guide list (including your first dance at weddings etc) (But all i ask is please think of your guests and what they will respond to on the dance floor) if your putting a list together, As there is nothing worse an empty dance floor to spoil your eve, Plus i always work off requests made by you & your guests during the eve, As most people iv found are spontaneous with they choices & know what they want to hear

I would just honestly be pleased to be your chosen dj at your wedding party or event, Music is my love & iv no real preferences to the type or style i play, As long as your guests and friends respond & enjoy it on the dance-floor,

Depending on your choice of set-up our set-up times can vary.
Our standard show will usually take around an 2 hour to set-up. We request 2 hours so that we can ensure everything is set-up & working, Ready for the arrival of you and your guests.
We kindly ask you to provide the access times of your chosen venue where possible.
All our set-ups are designed to fit your chosen venues set-up area or to your requirements, with us being flexible & professional in what we offer

re access, Due to the type of professional equipment we use, We need to be able to get access as close as possible to the set-up area, (ie within 10 metres) As some of our equipment is not suitable to be carried up-stairs or moved to hard to get to areas or across some services

Our team will dress appropriately for your event.
Usually for a casual party, We will wear smart/casual clothing.
For weddings we will usually dress in plain black (trousers & shirt)
If you’d prefer something a little more formal please let us know.
During set-up and pack down times our team may change into different casual clothing to enable us to feel a little more comfortable – this will be before your guests are due to arrive at the start and after your guests have left at the end.
Of course you can, if you’d like to add one of our services Please just let us know in advance
We will be happy to help & advise all we can, To make sure that you have exactly what you’d require for your event
Unfortunately we cannot hold dates without a completed signed booking form & agreed deposit paid to secure your date with us.

However any quotation for your requested date is still valid if another booking hasn’t already been taken on the date you have requested.

All our prices we try to keep realistic with you only paying for your requirements, (All fees agreed at time of booking)

We only accept payments via Cash, Cheque or Bank Transfer (All details stated on booking contract)
Re, extra chargers outside those stated or agreed on contract at time of booking, Our hourly rate till 1am is £75 per hour, with a £100 per hour charge applying there after

Yes upon booking we require a non returnable deposit to confirm your booking. The deposit required is currently 33% of the total hire fee, Paid on return of contract
With your balance payment for your event being made in full by cheque or BAC at least 10 days in advance of your chosen date or on the day prior to the event start time via cash (All details stated on booking contract)
This is up-to you, A meeting can be arranged at your chosen venue or a suitable location,

We are happy to meet you about any event, not just weddings – Please just contact us if you would like to meet us to discuss your booking in further detail.

We offer a more personal individual service with direct telephone contact to your dj,/ presenter (Mervyn Roberts 07979500417) at all times, So you are always able to stay in contact & discuss all of the necessary details enabling us to have everything in place prior to the day itself. For events that will require us all day we would kindly request the consideration of a break time to be given to our team to enable time to have a drink/something to eat etc. This will not be taken during the performance times.
Strange question, But yes we a have lights inc some of the latest effects available all to make your event even more special
Yes we have a full valid 10.million public liability cover.
All of our equipment is PAT tested with regular inspections,
In the unlikely event of equipment failure, We always have backup equipment available for piece of mind
No. With us being a professional company taking a deposit plus providing a signed contract with every booking, Chase Stereo are dedicated to your entertainment, IN 30 YEARS CHASE STEREO HAVE NEVER LET ANYBODY DOWN, But if the unthinkable ever happened, We would always find you a replacement DJ or disco
